A Double Winner
I won this watch for taking part in a survey. I chose this model because I didn't have it among my 3 other Detomaso watches, and I like to color coordinate watches with what I wear. The double win is that I love the look of the watch, it's comfortable, and like all my other Detomaso watches, it keeps perfect time. I know that most of my friends and acquaintances don't wear a watch, prefering to use their cell phones to check the time. This is bulky and inefficient IMHO. I like watches, and I really like this one.

I like the simple design and, of course, the powerful sunny yellow of the Giallo Blu. The fact that the watch straps are made from old PET bottles is another plus of this watch

THE WATCH IN DETAIL

Dangerously Accurate

Precision technology: the complex movement provided by the traditional Japanese manufacturer Miyota powers the Sorpasso and its chronograph function. All you need are the two side buttons to operate the functions: a first pushbutton sets the chronograph displays in motion, a second pushbutton stops them again. To keep track of the days when time's flying, the SORPASSO keeps the date in its own window.

Built for the common man, designed for car enthusiasts. The domed dial with it's lowered chronograph eyes and hands with dyed tips is based on a classic sports car dashboard. The purist design ensures time can be read from any angle.
